How Your Skin Changes In Fall (And How To Restore Its Balance)

Whether you like it or not, the end of summer is approaching. While for me, I couldn’t be more excited for cooler weather, pumpkin spice season, and sweaters, need I say more? MY FAVE! But, I do know that with the weather change comes a change in my skincare routine.

I have learned that my skin needs a routine change-up when it comes to the weather cooling off. Climates vary across the globe, but in the summer, we typically deal with increased time in the sun, higher humidity levels, and higher temperatures, while winter months often mean cooler weather, drier air, indoor heating, and exposure to elements like wind, snow, and rain.

How to know WHEN to switch up your routine?

The transition from summer to fall can be hard to pinpoint when it comes to a calendar. At least where I live, it can be summer weather one day and the next I am pulling out all my scarfs and warm sweaters and lighting my fall scented candles. What should you change in your routine?
