HOW TO GET RID OF ACNE/PIMPLES THE NIGHT BEFORE AN EVENT | QUICK FIX | RITA ALMUSA

Quick ways to get rid of a zit, acne or breakout, easy and fast!
The last thing you need is additional stress before a big day, date night, or special event. However, stress is probably one of the reasons you are dealing with acne or a pimple day of or day before the event. Stress produces extra hormones responsible for those last minute breakouts.
Rest assured, follow these steps below to help clear your skin or reduce the size of the pimple quickly.
Step 1:
Don’t try to over wash/dry/strip the skin with harsh cleansers/acne creams or face masques. As tempting as it may be, this will only cause more breakouts and more irritation. Instead, cleanse the face with a gentle cleanser (such as this Clarifying Daily Cleanser), and follow with spot treating the breakout/pimple with Tea Tree Oil with a Q-tip.
Step 2:
Icing! Ice the ish out of that zit. Not really, but kind of. Take an ice cube wrapped in a wash cloth (never apply ice directly to the skin) and hold on the swollen pimple for 1 min (no longer). This will help to calm down the infection and irritation.
Step 3:
DO NOT SQUEEZE or pick. As hard as this step may be, you must resist the urge to pop this baby! It will only cause more irritation, infection and possibly more breakouts by spreading the bacteria that you just shared with the surrounding area. Don’t worry, the icing will help shrink the inflammation, by the next morning.
Step 4:
Take an over the counter, anti-inflammatory medication (such as IB-Prufen) the night before and the day of. Believe it or not, this actually works to reduce inflammation of a zit. Though we don’t recommend to do this every day for acne, this could be helpful for that one big event you are trying to clear your skin for. ***This is only a recommendation, and you must check with your doctor if you are nursing or pregnant. ***
Step 5:
Applying an acne treatment such as the MintPear Vitamin C Serum the night before. This serum is going to help fight off the infection, giving the skin’s health a boost to over come the challenge of acne.
Step 6:
On the Day of the Event, be sure not to use too much concealer or makeup to cover the breakout, this could make it worse thru out the event, and also cause more irritation. If you do insist on using a cover-up/concealer/foundation, be sure to use one that is listed as non-comedogenic which means it will not cause you to breakout or irritate the skin. There are actually some acne treatment concealers on the market that could be helpful!
Other Natural Remedies you can add to these steps are: Pure Aloe Vera and Green Tea.
I hope you found these tips helpful, and remember, a breakout/pimple is always worse in your head, than in real life, sometimes you feel like it’s the size of Mount Everest, when in reality, your friends may not even know it’s there. The most beautiful thing you can wear is your own glowing-smile and confidence! Remember, we have all been there. It’s just a zit, not the end of the world. I hope you enjoy yourself at your event!
